Retail Crime Initiative

The Daventry and South Northants Retail Crime Initiative (D&SNRCI) was established in 2018 to fight retail crime. It is a non-profit making organisation and is fully supported by Northamptonshire Police.

The D&SN RCI forms part of the Northamptonshire Business Crime Partnership and joins forces with currently over 500 member stores countrywide, from the biggest national retailers to smaller independent local traders. It covers the towns of Daventry, Towcester and Brackley and their surrounding areas.

The D&SNRCI's ethos is to Prevent, Disrupt and Deter those intent on committing retail crime and anti-social behaviour in retail areas. Join the D&SNRCI and become part of an internationally recognised award-winning scheme that enables the retail community to show a united front.

In July 2025, NBCP achieved the BCRP National Standards Accreditation which is valid for 3 years and is a gold standard for Business Crime Reduction Partnership work.
