The Northamptonshire Business Crime Partnership (NBCP) was established in 2015 to fight retail crime. It is a not for profit making organisation and is fully supported by Northamptonshire Police and OPFCC.

It has over 500 members ranging from the biggest national retailers to smaller independent local traders. Members are located throughout Northamptonshire. The NBCP is firmly established in Northampton (NRCI), Kettering (KRCI), Corby (CRCI) Rushden Lakes and East Northants (RL&EN RCI), Wellingborough (WRCI), Daventry and South Northants (D&SNRCI).

The NBCP’s ethos is to Prevent, Disrupt and Deter those intent on committing retail crime and anti-social behaviour throughout all shopping areas in Northamptonshire. In July 2025, NBCP achieved the BCRP National Standards Accreditation which is valid for 3 years and is a gold standard for Business Crime Reduction Partnership work.
